OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project was to create a book cover redesign for an
existing book.
PROCESS
This project features a hand-carved linoprint to create texture as well as

promote a dark mood that is associated with the book. The print was
then scanned and placed onto the book cover in InDesign. The back
cover has a rectangle of a solid black linoprint scanned in to create
texture and contrast. The black and white colour palette works well with
the exitentialist theme of the book. The main challenge with this project
was choosing a design that would effectively translate as a linoprint.
