OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project was to write and design an interesting and
visually appealing cover story for a magazine.
PROCESS
This project uses many illustrations to get the message across, while
also implementing a very simple colour scheme. The titles were hand
drawn to mimic a hand-drawn zine. One of the struggles of this project
was fitting the required text in the two pages that were available after
the illustrations were placed. Because the story was largely focused
on the visual elements, there was little room left for the copy. This was
resolved by choosing a font that would be suitable at a smaller size and
using three colomns. One of the strengths of the final products was the
interactivity of the fourth page, which allows the reader to cut out the
page and practice folding a zine themselves.
